The Mariners reshuffled their pitching staff once more Thursday, as they called up reliever Lucas Leutge from Triple-A Tacoma and optioned Stephen Pryor to the Rainiers in his place.

Pryor spent just one day with the Mariners, allowing one unearned run in an inning of work in Wednesday’s loss to the Twins. He was called up the same day to take the place of starter Taijuan Walker, who was optioned to Tacoma so that he could continue to pitch on normal rest through the All-Star break.

Leutge gives Seattle one more fresh arm heading into today’s series finale against the Twins, which will be started by long reliever Tom Wilhelmsen, and a huge three-game weekend set with the American League-leading Oakland Athletics.

This is Leutge’s third stint with the Mariners this season, with whom he has a 7.71 ERA in three appearances. With the Rainiers, the left-hander is 3-1 with two saves and a 3.40 ERA in 39 2/3 innings.
