For Brock and Salk’s second show from 2019 Mariners spring training in Arizona, they sat down with general manager Jerry Dipoto and dug deep into a conversation about the team’s offseason overhaul that signaled a rebuild.

That rebuild didn’t start the Mariners’ ‘re-imagining’ of their roster, though. As Brock Huard and Mike Salk discuss in Tuesday’s Need to Know video, Dipoto had some interesting points to make about how Seattle was preparing to restructure itself to become a true contender early next decade before the offseason came along.
