710 ESPN Seattle expands lineup with Seattle Sports at Night, Seattle Sports Saturday

710 ESPN Seattle is excited to announce two additions to its on-air lineup: an expanded Seattle Sports at Night and the brand new Seattle Sports Saturday.
Jake Heaps: Excited to be new co-host on 710 ESPN Seattle
“I am really excited about both of these new shows as we give new opportunities to some of our rising stars in the building,” 710 ESPN Seattle Program Director Mike Salk said.
Seattle Sports at Night will air Monday through Thursday from 7-9 p.m. with hosts Curtis Rogers, Stacy Rost and Jake Heaps. On nights when Mariners or WSU Cougars men’s basketball games air on 710 ESPN Seattle, the show will air immediately following the postgame show, including Wednesday night’s debut show, which will air after the conclusion of the WSU-Colorado game that begins at 7.
Rogers, Rost and Heaps have all served as guest hosts for other 710 ESPN Seattle shows.
Rogers previously hosted a periodic version of Seattle Sports at Night in a solo capacity, and is a regular presence on the air as a producer with the station.
Rost serves as a Seahawks Insider, reporter and content producer for 710 ESPN Seattle and 710Sports.com.
Heaps, an Issaquah native who starred as a quarterback at Skyline High School, played in college at BYU, Miami (Fla.) and Kansas, and spent time in the NFL with the Jets and Seahawks. He joined 710 in 2018 as a part-time host, weekly guest on Bob, Groz and Tom, and as the host of the Jake Heaps’ Film Room video series on 710Sports.com.
“Curtis has done an incredible job hosting this spot solo, but we are excited to add Stacy and Jake as hosts as well,” Salk said. “Stacy has made a huge impact on our building and we are thrilled to add a regular hosting spot to her 710Sports.com writing duties. Jake has been a huge contributor as a guest host, football analyst and digital/video star.”
Seattle Sports Saturday will debut on March 2, joining the Saturday lineup that also features the Outdoor Line (6-8 a.m.) and John Clayton Show. Hosted by Lydia Cruz, Taylor Jacobs and Rogers, Seattle Sports at Night will air from 9 a.m. to noon. The John Clayton Show, which previously occupied the 9-noon timeslot, will now air from 8-9 a.m.
Cruz is also the host of The Blitz at 6 each weekday on 710 ESPN Seattle and also contributes on Brock and Salk.
Jacobs is 710 ESPN Seattle’s Audience Engagement Specialist and has also been a guest host and producer at the station.
“Lydia will build upon the great success of the Blitz by adding a talk show format and Taylor brings a unique point of view,” Salk said.
