Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin will miss Monday’s game against Minnesota because of a hip injury.
Hawks-Vikings previews: O’Neil | Clayton | Huard | Moore | Stelton | Rost
Baldwin did not practice this week and was a game-time decision. He worked out on the field before the game but is not active. Baldwin played the previous week after he was listed as questionable because of an injury to his groin muscle.
Also inactive for the Seahawks: G D.J. Fluker, C Joey Hunt, DL Branden Jackson, LB K.J. Wright and CB Kalan Reed.
For Baldwin, the hip injury is just the latest in a series of physical setbacks this year. He did not appear in a preseason game because of a sore knee, and once the season started, he suffered a sprained ligament in his other knee that kept him out the second and third game of the season.
Now, it’s a hip injury, which is related to – but not the same as – the groin injury he played through last week.
Baldwin has caught 37 passes this season, second-most on the team. Tyler Lockett leads Seattle with 44 receptions.
The Vikings’ inactive players: QB Kyle Sloter, WR Chad Beebe, CB Trae Waynes, RB Mike Boone, TE David Morgan, DE Tayshawn Bower, DT Jalyn Holmes.
