• The Seattle Mariners are 11-6 since the All-Star break.
• Since the All-Star break the Mariners are seventh in MLB in runs scored with 75. The Yankees and Angels have compiled 76 each.
• The M’s have a 2.99 ERA since the All-Star break, which is fifth best in MLB.
• Their bullpen has a 3.22 ERA for the season, which is eighth best in baseball.
• The M’s lead MLB in fielding percentage for the season at .990.
• More importantly, they lead MLB in team UZR at 41.7 according to FanGraphs.
• Brendan Ryan leads all individual players in baseball with a UZR of 15.2.
• The M’s have given up the second most passed balls in baseball this year (13).
• Jesus Montero is fourth among AL rookies in homers and RBIs.
• Montero is batting .370 with six homers and 19 RBIs vs. lefties, but just .209 with four homers against righties. His OPS is 1.017 vs. LHP and .558 against RHP.
• John Jaso is batting .312 with five homers and 27 RBIs vs. RHP while .154 with zero homers and three RBIs against lefties.
• Jaso is hitting .280 as a starter and .357 as a sub.
• Felix Hernandez is second in MLB with 155 innings pitched while Jason Vargas is fifth with 146.
• Vargas has a season ERA of 3.23 if you take away a start in Arizona where he gave up 10 runs.
• Felix is tops in baseball in strikeouts with 153, which is two ahead of Stephen Strasburg.
• The M’s have the worst batting average against RHP in baseball at .229.
• The M’s have scored 52 runs against the Royals this year while batting .320.
• They have hit 11 homers vs. KC and the next highest total is eight against the A’s and Rangers.
• With his last save Tom Wilhelmsen jumped past Ted Power on the Mariners’ all-time saves list. He is tied with Matt Young for No. 23 with 14.
