Jake Heaps’ Film Room: Ed Dickson’s immediate impact for Seahawks

The Seahawks’ offense had an important piece involved for the first time all season in last Sunday’s win over Detroit: Ed Dickson.

Ed Dickson’s Seahawks debut couldn’t have gone better

The veteran tight end was brought to Seattle for his blocking ability, but he showed in his Seahawks debut after recovering from a quad injury that he can be an asset as a pass-catcher, as well. Dickson made an impressive catch in the corner of the end zone on a great throw from Russell Wilson for his first Seahawks reception, then added another big gain later in the game.

For this week’s trip to the film room, former Seahawks quarterback Jake Heaps shows how Dickson was able to get himself involved in the offense so quickly and make an immediate impact in a big win for Seattle.
