The Seattle Mariners made their second move in as many days, claiming Angels outfielder Dan Robertson off waivers on Friday morning.
Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto is clearly familiar with Robertson, 30; Dipoto was the Angels GM when Robertson was acquired from the Padres in a trade late last year.

Robertson has a .274 batting average, .324 on-base percentage and .649 OPS in 107 games over two MLB seasons with the Angels and Rangers. He can play each outfield position, spending the majority of his playing time in left field.
The Mariners also announced they have outrighted pitcher J.C. Ramirez to Triple-A Tacoma. Ramirez, 27, was brought to Seattle in a minor league trade with Arizona in late July. He went 1-2 with a 5.32 ERA and 16 strikeouts over 20 appearances for Seattle and Arizona in 2015.
