Jake Heaps’ Film Room: Seahawks take advantage of weakness in Rams’ secondary

Former Washington Huskies cornerback Marcus Peters’ return to Seattle didn’t go as smoothly as he would have liked.

You can thank Russell Wilson, David Moore and the Seahawks’ offense for that.

In the Seahawks’ 33-31 loss to the Rams, the passing game was able to take advantage of two-time Pro Bowler Peters multiple times, including on Moore’s 30-yard touchdown reception from Wilson that gave Seattle a 31-24 lead late in the third quarter.

Former NFL and NCAA quarterback Jake Heaps breaks down that particular play in the included video, showing how Wilson was able to use Peters’ aggressiveness against him and connect on a deep ball to Moore.
