The Seahawks (1-2) are heading to Glendale this Sunday to take on the Arizona Cardinals (0-3) for their first divisional matchup of the season. The Seahawks, along with the rest of the league, will also get their most extensive look yet at first-round rookie quarterback Josh Rosen.
Arizona head coach Steve Wilks announced Monday that Rosen will get the start over veteran Sam Bradford.
“I’ve decided that Josh Rosen will be our starter going forward,” Wilks said during a press conference. “Josh plays with a lot of confidence. I think he gives us the opportunity to be able to be successful.”
The Seahawks are 19-18-1 all-time versus Cardinals in the regular season. It will be the first time facing a rookie quarterback for Seattle’s defense.
