It is appearing very likely the Seahawks will be without Doug Baldwin for a good portion of this season.
According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver suffered a Grade 2 partial MCL tear in his right knee in Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. The Seahawks initially said after the game that Baldwin had suffered an MCL sprain.

Baldwin, 29, missed the entire preseason with a completely different knee injury. He stayed out of action to nurse an issue with his left knee and returned to play for the Week 1 game in Denver. Then in the first quarter he was rolled up on and couldn’t make it off the field, and while he did return in the second quarter, he was ruled out for the rest of the game after halftime.
Baldwin was targeted just once by quarterback Russell Wilson against the Broncos, and he made no receptions.
