Doug Baldwin suffered a sprained medical-collateral ligament in his right knee in the first quarter of Sunday’s loss in Denver, and while he returned to play after suffering the injury, it ultimately knocked him out of the game.

Carroll offered no timeline for how long Baldwin might be out, but that type of injury is something that often sidelines a player for a month or more.
Baldwin did not play in any of Seattle’s preseason games because of a knee injury, but that was his left knee. The injury he suffered Sunday was to his right knee when a Denver defensive lineman fell into Baldwin from behind.
Baldwin was targeted once in the game but did not have a reception, ending his string of 64 consecutive regular-season games with at least one reception. It was the first time since the regular-season finale in 2013 that Baldwin did not catch a pass.
