The Seahawks have claimed guard Jordan Simmons and defensive back Simeon Thomas off waivers, the team announced Sunday afternoon.
Seahawks’ finalize 53-man roster
Simmons, 24, was waived by the Oakland Raiders during the 53-man roster cutdown Saturday. He signed with the Raiders’ practice squad in 2017 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of USC.
Seahawks claimed ex-Raiders G Jordan Simmons on waivers, source confirmed. A disappointment for Oakland. His development one of better stories at reserve O-line this offseason.

Thomas, 24, was a sixth-round draft pick by the Cleveland Browns earlier this spring. The 6-feet-3, 190-pound cornerback recorded 42 tackles and 12 passes defensed in his final season at Louisiana-Lafayette.
To make room on the roster, Seattle waived guard Rees Odhiambo and defensive end Branden Jackson.
