The Seahawks’ backfield depth has reportedly taken its second hit in the last week.
Running back J.D. McKissic has a Jones fracture in his foot and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Seahawks already lost first-round pick Rashaad Penny last week for the rest of the preseason with a broken finger.
Penny and second-year RB Chris Carson are the likely top two backs entering the season for Seattle, while McKissic is competing with Mike Davis and C.J. Prosise for the other spots.
A Jones fracture is a break between the base and shaft of the fifth metatarsal bone of the foot.
McKissic, 25, appeared in 13 games with one start last season with the Seahawks, rushing for 187 yards and a touchdown on 46 attempts. He also caught 34 passes for 266 yards and two touchdowns. In 2016, he played one game for Seattle in 2016 and also spent time with the Atlanta Falcons.
