Ex-Seahawks CB Brandon Browner arrested on kidnapping, burglary charges

Former NFL cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested on several felony charges Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles County, according to NFL.com.
Prior to his arrest, Browner was wanted by police in connection to kidnapping charges, burglary, false imprisonment, and violation of a restraining order. The arrest was made after Browner allegedly broke into a residence through a locked window and physically harmed and made threats to a victim inside the residence. According to the original NBC L.A. report, Browner had a previous relationship with the victim.
Browner also allegedly took a Rolex watch worth an estimated $20,000 before leaving the residence.
A former NFL player, Browner originally signed with the Broncos as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Oregon State in 2005. He ultimately signed with the Seahawks in 2011 and was an original member of Seattle’s famed Legion of Boom secondary. He was also part of the Seahawks’ Super Bowl XLVIII-winning roster in 2013-14.
Browner served a brief stint once again in Seattle during the 2016 preseason before he was released in August – ultimately ending his NFL career.
