Stelton: How long until Mariners’ Scott Servais, Jerry Dipoto should get contract extensions?

The Mariners entered Friday with a 21-15 record, and the additions made by general manager Jerry Dipoto and manager Scott Servais since joining the team before the 2016 season have played big roles in the good start.
Dipoto: Good chemistry has made Mariners resilient this season
In just a short look at some acquisitions from the previous offseason, the Mariners’ offense has been energized by new center fielder Dee Gordon and first baseman Ryon Healy. Leadoff man Gordon is fifth in the American League with a .340 average and his 15 stolen bases is five more than any other player in the junior circuit. Healy, meanwhile, has six home runs (all coming in the 13 games since he returned from a sprained ankle on April 26) and 16 RBIs, and he has proven to be a strong defensive first baseman.
With those moves, not to mention others like adding Jean Segura and Mitch Haniger in the same trade before the 2017 season, working out so well on the field, is it time to start wondering if Servais and Dipoto should be in line for contract extensions soon? Bob Stelton of 710 ESPN Seattle discusses that possibility in the embedded video.
