Percy Harvin is on the comeback trail.
Reports surfaced this week that the playmaking wide receiver’s hip has healed enough that he will return to practice with the Seahawks before their next contest, a Monday Night Football battle at NFC West rival St. Louis on Oct. 28.
Harvin was the talk of the offseason in Seattle, because he is expected to give the Seahawks’ offense an explosive element in the receiving corps that hasn’t been present in the Russell Wilson era.
It is unknown when Harvin will make his Seahawks debut — he missed the entire preseason, so he’s yet to even suit up with Seattle. It could be in time for the Rams game, but that may be pushing it, especially considering the team’s comfortable lead in the division.
Whenever Harvin does return, all eyes will be on him as fans and experts alike will be anxious to see what his addition will mean for the 6-1 Seahawks. That’s exactly what 710 ESPN Seattle’s “Bob and Groz” discuss in the video above, and, as expected, it’s hard to keep the optimism contained.
