With the Seahawks’ second pick in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Seattle took Oklahoma State safety Tre Flowers with the 146th pick.

The Seahawks categorized Flowers as a cornerback on their Twitter account, which makes sense considering how well his 6-foot-3, 202-pound frame and 33 7/8-inch arms fit the bill for what the Hawks like at CB.

An All-Big-12 first team selection in 2017, Flowers led the Cowboys with 79 tackles in 13 games (11 starts). He had two interceptions and a team-high seven pass breakups.

The pick of Flowers came just five picks after Seattle’s selection of linebacker Shaquem Griffin, twin brother of Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin.
