Ex-Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski has agreed to terms on a contract with the Seahawks. The signing has since been confirmed by the team.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that it is a one-year deal.

Janikowski, 40, had a visit with Seattle earlier this week. The Seahawks now have two kickers on their roster (the team signed Jason Myers to a reserve/futures contract in January).

Janikowski, a one-time Pro Bowler who has played 268 career games over 17 NFL seasons – all with the Oakland Raiders. Janikowski was 29 for 35 (82.9 percent) on field goals last season and 37 for 39 (94.9 percent) on extra points. He was released by Oakland in February.

The Seahawks have not re-signed kicker Blair Walsh, who became an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Walsh signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks in 2017, but posted the lowest field goal percentage of his career (72.4%) last season.

The signing is the second of the day for the Seahawks, who earlier this morning added free agent quarter Stephen Morris.
