Seahawks quarterback Trevon Boykin is being investigated following allegations of domestic violence made by his partner, according to WFAA.

The Seahawks released Boykin this morning.

Boykin’s girlfriend, Shabrika Bailey, accused Boykin of choking her and breaking her jaw. According to Bailey, the two got into an argument and Boykin began to choke her until she became unconcious. Bailey says that when she regained conciousness, she was covered in blood and laying on the floor.

Bailey says Boykin drove her to a hospital in Mesquite, Tex. where she was diagnosed with a broken jaw on both her left and right side.

Mesquite police, who spoke with Bailey this morning, confirmed to WFAA that Boykin is currently under investigation.

Boykin released a statement about the indident Tuesday afternoon.
