The Seahawks’ agreed-upon trade for cornerback C.J. Smith with the Cleveland Browns has reportedly been nullified, according to ESPN NFL insider Field Yates.

Nullified trades tend to be a result of failed physicals.
Seattle was going to send a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft for Smith.
The 24-year-old Smith has appeared in 12 games over two NFL seasons. He most recently was a member of the Browns’ practice squad.
