The Gonzaga Bulldogs may be ranked No. 6 in the nation by the Associated Press, but they will be a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
The Zags (30-4 overall) will meet 13th-seeded UNC Greensboro in Boise, Idaho on Thursday in a West Region opener as they begin their quest to return to the Final Four a year after reaching the championship game against North Carolina.

The Bulldogs could end up in a rematch of last year’s title game against the Tar Heels in the Elite Eight, as UNC has the No. 2 seed in the West.
This will be Gonzaga’s 20th straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Mark Few’s team is coming off West Coast Conference regular season and tournament championships, both of which they won for the sixth straight year.
The top seeds in the NCAA Tournament are Virginia, Villanova, Kansas and Xavier. Tony Bennett’s Virginia team is the No. 1 overall seed, getting to play their opening-round South Region game in Charlotte.
