Mariners announce list of 18 non-roster invitees to Spring Training

The Seattle Mariners have announced the list of non-roster players invited to spring training. The following non-roster invitees will have lockers in the big league clubhouse to start out the spring.

D.J. Mitchell
Brian Moran
Jhonny Nunez
James Patxton
Carson Smith
Taijuan Walker

Catchers

John Hicks
Jesus Sucre
Mike Zunino

Infielders

Mike Jacobs
Stefen Romero
Nick Franklin
Brad Miller

No, I did not leave out the outfielders. Apparently none have been invited.

The Mariners Spring Training roster is currently at 58 players, including 30 pitchers, 5 catchers, 15 infielders and 8 outfielders.

Pitchers and catcher report Feb. 12 with the first full squad workout scheduled for Feb.16
