Jamie Moyer was at Safeco Field to throw the first pitch (to Dan Wilson, of course) Monday night. Before the game he met with the media and then sat down for an interview with me for the pregame show.

It was great to have the chance to catch up with Jamie, who says he has yet to file retirement papers because he has not entirely ruled out a comeback. For now he is enjoying his time at home, where he has found a new passion in gardening and keeping up with his children.

Jamie was my guest on the pregame show and in our interview he talked about his memories of his time with the Mariners and what he enjoyed in his battles with hitters and expresses gratitude when told that Felix Hernandez counts him as one of the primary influences in his early pitching life.
