Grinch is heading to Ohio State to become the Buckeyes’ co-defensive coordinator, according to a tweet by FOX Sports’ Bruce Feldman.

In his third season as WSU’s DC, Grinch’s defense rose to 16th in the nation in total defense in 2017. It was the culmination of three years straight of improvement on that side of the ball for the Cougars.

Grinch, a 2002 graduate of Division III stalwart Mount Union, grew up in Grove City, Ohio. His previous coaching jobs were at Missouri and Wyoming.
