The Seahawks have wasted no time adding a potential replacement for kicker Blair Walsh.
Jason Myers, a free agent kicker who spent parts of three seasons with Jacksonville, has been signed to a futures deal by the Seahawks. Seattle also signed fullback Jalston Fowler to a futures deal.
Myers, 26, was released by the Jaguars last October. He was 11 of 15 (81 percent) this season on field goals, with all but one of his misses coming from beyond 50 yards. For his career, he is 64 for 49 on field goals and 76 for 88 on extra points.
Walsh is set to become a free agent after a rough first season in Seattle that saw him miss eight field goal attempts, including three on Nov. 5 against Arizona, a potential tying field goal against Atlanta on Nov. 20, and a potential game-winner on Dec. 31 against Arizona.
Fowler, 27, appeared in 42 games as a member of the Tennessee Titans from 2015-17. An Alabama product, he has one rushing and one receiving touchdown in the NFL. He was waived by the Titans in December.
