Eric Dickerson stood along the Los Angeles Rams’ sideline during their 42-7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Dickerson was shivering in the cold, even though his playing career included time in Indianapolis, but he also looked like a proud father watching a Rams team he was so happy to see return to Los Angeles.
On the latest episode of Schooled with the Professor, the Pro Football Hall of Famer and FS1 analyst joins me to talk about how the Rams have bounced back from a horrible first year in L.A.

Dickerson opens up on the podcast about his struggles with the Rams’ front office last year. He was critical of an offense that he thought had the design of a high-school team, so the team told him it didn’t want him on the sideline while Jeff Fisher was the coach. Fisher lost his job, and his replacement, Sean McVay, has brought one of the most exciting offenses into the league since the St. Louis Rams were “The Greatest Show on Turf.” Dickerson also talks about the current state of running backs and how different it was when he was having his Hall of Fame career.
