Mariners first baseman Justin Smoak has quietly posted strong numbers since returning from the disabled list on June 18, hitting .339 with four doubles, four home runs and nine RBIs during that 16-game stretch.

In the video above, Shannon Drayer shares some insight into Smoak’s recent success before looking ahead to tonight’s game against the Red Sox at Safeco Field.
