Stelton: If ever there was a time the Seahawks could use a short turnaround, this is it

There wasn’t a lot to like from the Seahawks’ 17-14 loss to Washington on Sunday.
The defense gave up two long pass plays in the final 2 minutes and relinquished a late lead. They were uncomfortably close to matching the franchise record for penalties in a game. Kicker Blair Walsh missed three field goals in the first half. Even quarterback Russell Wilson had one of the worst statistical games of his career.
But there’s a silver lining.
As 710 ESPN Seattle’s Bob Stelton explains in the video below, it’s pretty rare for an NFL team to benefit from a short turnaround from a Sunday game to another one just four days later. But in the Seahawks’ case, coming off a game they’d like nothing better than to forget and leave in the rear view mirror, Thursday’s matchup in Arizona against the NFC West rival Cardinals is exactly what they need.
