One of the newest starting pitchers in the major leagues will battle one of baseball’s longest-tenured players in Game 2 of the Mariners’ series against the Yankees at 7:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle.
Mariners rookie Andrew Moore will make his fifth career start, while New York’s 17-year veteran lefty C.C. Sabathia will toe the rubber for the 498th time. Moore will be looking for a bounce-back outing after allowing five runs on six hits – including three homers – last Sunday against the White Sox.
