The NFL voted unanimously on Tuesday to ban players from leaping over the line of scrimmage to block field goals and extra points, which means the Seahawks were in favor of that proposal even though they’ve used the tactic to their benefit on two notable instances in recent seasons.
Kam Chancellor did it in Seattle’s playoff victory over Carolina three seasons ago while Bobby Wagner did it in the Seahawks’ tie with Arizona last year.
So why did the Seahawks go along with the rest of the NFL in voting to outlaw the play? John Clayton discussed that during his daily conversation with “Brock and Salk” on Wednesday. Clayton also looks ahead to what moves the Seahawks could make next in free agency
