Injured Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas has been in the news the past few weeks after he mentioned that he’s considering retirement. But on Christmas Eve, he spread some holiday cheer for Seahawks fans (especially after Seattle’s loss to Arizona) with a simple tweet.
I'll def be back next year..

So there you have it – the Seahawks can pencil in having their five-time All-Pro safety roaming the field again next season. That’s as long as he doesn’t change his mind between then and now, of course, which is entirely possible.
Thomas, who suffered a season-ending broken tibia against the Carolina Panthers on Dec. 4, has been an entertaining Twitter follow in recent weeks. He’s taken to live tweeting Seahawks games from the comfort of his home, providing encouragement for his teammates as well as some particularly insightful thoughts about the Seahawks.
