Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said during his weekly appearance on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM that defensive end Frank Clark will be a game-time decision Sunday against Atlanta.
Clark injured his hamstring during Monday’s practice and didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday. The interview with Carroll aired Friday morning, before the Seahawks held their final practice of the week. Carroll is scheduled to speak with the media at-large after that practice.
Here are some other injury updates he shared during his interview with Dori Monson on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM:
Asked if quarterback Russell Wilson is back to 100 percent yet following ankle and knee injuries, Carroll said: “He’s worked really hard this week. He looks good. You wouldn’t know anything is wrong with him when you watch practice. He’s doing great. So he’s really excited about that. The break couldn’t have helped us more in that regard. Looking forward to him playing really just normal football.”
On wide receiver Tyler Lockett, who’s been dealing with a knee injury: “Tyler Lockett looks by far the best he’s been. He seems to be back. He looks full speed.”
On running back C.J. Prosise, who hasn’t played since breaking a bone in his hand in Seattle’s opener: “C.J. Prosise is really close to playing, if not this week then next week. He’s practicing well. We’re just trying to make sure he’s safe and secure to move on.”
The full Carroll interview will air at 12:30 and again at 2:15 on “The Dori Monson Show” on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM. You can listen here.
