Series- Tied 2-2 (Home Team Has Won Each and Every Time)

Last Meeting- January 8, 2011- SU 65-58

Scouting Northridge:

Northridge has fallen into an interesting pattern. On November 26th they toppled a Big East foe in DePaul. They proceeded to drop their next three. They won again on December 7th and again dropped their next three. They won again on December 30th and then lost the following three games. They are fresh off of a Big West win in their last contest by blasting Cal State Fullerton 89-65. If the pattern holds then a three game losing streak is on the horizon starting tonight versus SU. Northridge does feature a winning home record this year (4-3) which is in striking contrast to their road tally (0-7).

The Ones to Watch:

Lenny Daniel- 6’8 SR F- 17 ppg 9.7 rbs

Daniel will be a massive matchup problem for Seattle U. He is fierce in the post and can run th e floor and finish strong in transition. He has been on fire as of late- 20 points and 10 rebounds a game in his last 13. He is also shooting g remarkable 65% in that span. He does all his damage around the basket so SU needs to keep a body on him at all times. He ran wild for 27 points and 7 rebounds in the first matchup 11 days ago.

Rahaun McLemore- 6’5 SR G- 15 ppg 4 rbs

McLemore bolted out of the gates against SU the last time around but Lever and the Redhawks threw the clamps on him in the second half which turned out to be a key to the win. He only shoots 25% from 3 and hi percentage continues to plummet as they move through the season. He is 4 for his last 25 from downtown. He does most of his damage going to the basket. Seattle defenders need to keep him in front and force him to beat them from the outside.

Keys to the Game:

1- Good Start- They need to find an offensive groove early.

2- Deal with Daniel- The frontline will have to keep Daniel from going nuts.

3- Feed the Post- The frontline dominated the last time around versus Northridge including a career high 29 points from Alex Jones.

Numbers to Know:

– 1-9- The road record

– 17- The number of games in a row Broussard has scored in double figures.

– 7- The number of rebounds Lever is averaging in the last 3.
