Quarterback Russell Wilson said he’s OK after suffering a scary-looking knee injury in the third quarter of the Seahawks’ win over San Francisco on Sunday.
Wilson, already playing on a sprained right ankle, was running to his right when 49ers linebacker Eli Harold took him down awkwardly with a horse-collar tackle. He went to the sideline and returned after one play, finishing the series. Rookie Trevone Boykin took over for good from there.
Coach Pete Carroll called Wilson’s injury “a little bit of a knee sprain” and said he most likely will be fine. Wilson said he’ll have an MRI and added: “I’ll be good to go.”
