Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls didn’t practice Thursday for the second straight day due to the leg injury he sustained last week against the Rams.
On Wednesday, coach Pete Carroll described the injury as a strain in a muscle near Rawls’ shin and said it doesn’t look like it would keep him from playing Sunday against San Francisco. Carroll said wide receivers Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett also appeared to be on track to play despite both sustaining knee injuries against Los Angeles.
The Seahawks listed Baldwin and Lockett as full participants Thursday after they were both limited Wednesday. Rawls, though, hasn’t practiced either day, which means his availability for Sunday may not be as certain as it appeared.
Also listed as full participants Thursday after being limited Wednesday are tight end Jimmy Graham (knee) and defensive end Cliff Avril (hamstring).
Quarterback Russell Wilson was again listed a full participant as he has been for every practice since spraining his ankle in Seattle’s opener.
“I’m definitely feeling better this week,” Wilson told reporters Thursday. “Last week was a battle, but getting a little bit better every day and every week, that’s the goal. The trainers are doing a great job and just the mentality of doing everything I can and just to heal up as best as I can and to move quickly.”
