SEATTLE — Washington quarterback Keith Price has been officially announced as the starter for the Huskies in the Apple Cup against Washington State.
Price injured his right (throwing) shoulder in a loss to UCLA on Nov. 15. He missed the entire second half of the game, and sat out last week’s 69-27 victory over Oregon State.
Freshman quarterback Cyler Miles played in his place.
Price has thrown for 2,662 yards, 19 touchdowns and four interceptions in 10 games this season. His quarterback rating is 154.6.
Kickoff for the Apple Cup is set for 12:35 p.m. at Husky Stadium. In 2012, Washington State beat Price and the Huskies in overtime in the Cougars’ first Apple Cup under head coach Mike Leach.
