Washington football will begin fall practice with split sessions at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 4, the school announced in a press release Wednesday.
The program will also hold a beginning-of-fall press conference with first-year head coach Chris Petersen at 1 p.m. on Aug. 3.
Additionally, Washington announced that 27 true freshmen started the LEAP (Learn Experience Achieve Program) program this week. LEAP is a six-credit course designed to give a soft landing into college life for incoming UW freshman student-athletes.
