LOS ANGELES – Rookie running back C.J. Prosise is inactive for the Seahawks after suffering a broken bone in his wrist in last week’s season opener.
Prosise practiced this week and had not been ruled out, but coach Pete Carroll referenced the fact that he was wearing a protective device, too. Prosise served as the third-down back for Seattle prior to suffering the injury last week. Christine Michael stepped into that role in the second half against Miami.
With Prosise out, rookie Alex Collins is active for the Seahawks.
J’Marcus Webb is active for Seattle after being listed as questionable on Friday when he missed practice. Webb is expected to start at right guard. Rookie Rees Odhiambo is also active to provide depth along the interior of the line.
The Seahawks’ full list of inactive players: Prosise, WR Tanner McEvoy, CB DeAndre Elliott, LB Dewey McDonald, RG Germain Ifedi, TE Nick Vannett, DT Garrison Smith.
The Rams’ inactive players: P Johnny Hekker, QB Sean Mannion, CB E.J. Gaines, CB Steve Williams, T Pace Murphy, WR Nelson Spruce, DE Matt Longacre.
