Fore! 710 ESPN Seattle tees it up at the American Cancer Society Washington Invitational

Mike Salk, Kyle Brown, James Osborn and yours truly represented 710 ESPN Seattle at the 13th annual American Cancer Society Washington Invitational golf tournament on Monday. A good time was had by all despite our pitiful showing at Broadmoor Golf Club.
We had our moments, like an opening birdie on the fifth hole – where we started the four-man scramble – and another on No. 17. But we managed to card four bogeys (!), including one on 18 even after paying for a air gun to launch our ball 300 yards down the center of the fairway. That was awesome. Our approach shots that followed were not.
It was that kind of round as we finished with a plus-2 74. Much more important than the golf, of course, was the cause. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the American Cancer Society, which supports cancer research, detection and treatment, patient services and education.
Here’s some video of our round. Viewer discretion is advised.
