The Seahawks made a roster move Tuesday, signing long snapper Nolan Frese and releasing linebacker Khairi Fortt.
Frese, an undrafted rookie, becomes the second long snapper on Seattle’s 90-man offseason roster. The Seahawks signed Drew Ferris in March after releasing Clint Gresham in a cost-cutting move. The team’s press release notes that Frese connected on all 156 of his snaps during his senior season at the University of Houston (that’s right, a long-snapping stat).
Fortt is a second-year player who had signed with Seattle in May.
