10/26: Don’t blame Bevell for Seahawks’ offensive woes

The Seahawks rank next-to-last in yards per game through seven weeks. Only the Jaguars, who are starting a rookie quarterback, are worse. Seattle’s average of 16.2 points per game puts them in a tie for 27th with the Browns, the team they scored just three points against in a loss on Sunday.
Those statistics show what is obvious to anyone who has watched the Seahawks this year — that their offense is nowhere near where it wants to be.
In Tuesday’s Wrap Up video, Brock Huard explains why first-year coordinator Darrell Bevell and his play-calling shouldn’t be blamed for that offensive ineptitude.
