In the span of four days, the Seahawks offensive line has been dealt a devastating blow as RG John Moffitt and RT James Carpenter have been lost for the season.
The two rookies were progressing nicely on the right side of the offensive line, as running back Marshawn Lynch rushed over 100 yards for two consecutive games before Moffitt went down with a season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The Seahawks’ first two picks in April’s draft have been lost for the season after Carpenter, the No. 25 overall pick in the draft, tore his ACL during practice drills on Wednesday.
In Thursday’s Show Wrap video, Brock Huard examines how the Seahawks offensive line will be affected with seven games left in the regular season.
