The Mariners will attempt to rebound from a 3-game sweep with a four-game series against the Padres, who sit at the bottom of the National League West division. The Mariners will host the first two games and head to San Diego for a pair on Wednesday and Thursday.
One person who loves Interleague play is Nelson Cruz, who has hit 36 home runs in 115 career Interleague play games. Since Cruz’s debut in 2007, nobody has hit more home runs against the rival league.
First pitch at Safeco Field is set for 1:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle, with the pregame show beginning at noon.
