Last week, Brock Huard and Mike Salk revisited Brandon Browner’s 2011 season in response to an ESPN analyst’s contention that the Seahawks’ cornerback was among the most overrated players in the NFC.
Browner made the Pro Bowl as an injury replacement thanks in large part to his six interceptions, which was one shy of the NFL lead.
Richard Sherman didn’t intercept as many passes (four), but the rookie cornerback still had an outstanding season after entering the starting lineup in Week 8.
In Monday’s Wrap Up video, Huard explains why Sherman — the only starter in the Seahawks’ secondary to not make the Pro Bowl in 2011 — might be the team’s most underrated defender.
