Kurt Warner offered some cautionary tales when he joined “Bob and Groz” on Thursday and talked about the difficult adjustments quarterbacks face when switching teams.
Mastering a new offense and establishing a rapport with new receivers take time, lessons Warner learned during his 12 seasons in the NFL.
Those are the challenges for Matt Flynn (and Russell Wilson, for that matter) as he adjusts to a new team after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Packers. Tarvaris Jackson, meanwhile, is entering his second season in Seattle and his seventh in coordinator Darrell Bevell’s offense.
Given his familiarity with the offense and Seattle’s receivers, how much of an advantage should Jackson have over Flynn in the team’s quarterback battle? Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby discuss that question in the video below.
