Lineups: Mariners vs. A’s game 1

After collecting four hits in the in the leadoff spot Sunday, Mariners center fielder Leonys Martin gets the nod at the top again for Monday’s series opener against the Athletics.

Martin has reached base safely in 16 of his last 17 games, including recording a hit in each of his last six. Since May 3, Martin is batting .345 with 12 runs scored, four home runs, seven RBIs, eight walks and five stolen bases.

Chris Taylor will also get his first start at shortstop after being recalled from Triple-A Sunday to replace injured starter Ketel Marte, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

First pitch at Safeco Field is 7:10 p.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle, with the pregame show starting at 6 p.m.
