Defensive end Red Bryant was the only player who did not participate in the Seahawks’ Thanksgiving Day practice. Bryant was listed on the practice report with a foot injury.
No coaches were available for comment, but head coach Pete Carroll will address the media as scheduled after Friday’s walk-through.
In just his second day of practice, guard James Carpenter was a full participant. Carpenter was limited on Wednesday after missing two games with a concussion. Carroll said he will wait and see how Carpenter performs throughout the week before deciding if he will get the start at left guard on Sunday against the Dolphins.
Running back Marshawn Lynch, still listed with a back injury, continues to be a full participant in practice. Carroll was asked about Lynch’s durability during the Wednesday press conference.
“Our guys have managed him real well on our days, and building him back up each week,” Carroll said. “He’s looked fit and fast and everything looks great. He looks like he’s in great shape right now. So it’s going fine and I’m not worried about it at all honestly.
“I told him we’re going to give it to him more.”
Defensive end Gregg Scrggs, cornerback Byron Maxwell, defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, and linebacker K.J. Wright were also full practice on Thursday.
The Seahawks have a walk-through Friday morning before departing for Miami in the late afternoon.
