The Seahawks’ ever-changing secondary had another player missing from Thursday’s practice. Starting safety Kam Chancellor watched from the sideline with a groin injury.

Cornerback Marcus Trufant did not participate due to a hamstring injury, and defensive end Red Bryant continued to rest his sore foot.

Making the limited participation list were linebacker Leroy Hill (ankle) and center Max Unger (hip).

Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley said he’s confident that Walter Thurmond will do well starting at right corner in place of the suspended Brandon Browner.

Bradley is obviously concerned about Seattle’s pass coverage against one of the NFL’s top receivers, Larry Fitzgerald, who essentially took over the fourth quarter in the Cardinals’ Week 1 victory over Seattle. Without revealing any secrets, Bradley said it takes a combination of zone and man coverage, plus a constant awareness of where Fitzgerald is lined up.

Bradley is pleased to know John Skelton will be Arizona’s starting quarterback on Sunday. Seattle was able to get ample pressure on Skelton in that first game. It was Kevin Kolb who came off the bench to engineer the game-winning drive.

Kolb is on Arizona’s limited participation practice report with sore ribs. The only two Cardinals players not participating Thursday were wide receiver Andre Roberts and defensive end Ronald Talley.
