Greetings from the pressbox at CenturyLink Field, where we’re awaiting kickoff of the Seahawks’ Week 14 game against division rival Arizona.
A few notes to pass along, starting with the inactives:
Linebacker Leroy Hill is active despite an ankle injury that forced him to miss Seattle’s last game and had him listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
As expected, cornerback Marcus Trufant (hamstring) is inactive, while defensive end Red Bryant (foot) and strong safety Kam Chancellor (groin) are active.
The rest of the Seahawks’ inactives: WR Charly Martin, DB DeShawn Shead, CB Ron Parker, G Rishaw Johnson, T Mike Person and DT Jaye Howard.
Arizona’s inactive list includes guard Senio Kelemete, a rookie fifth-round pick who played collegiately at Washington. The rest of the Cardinals’ inactives: QB Kevin Kolb, WR LaRon Byrd, CB Jamell Fleming, T Pat McQuistan, TE Kory Sperry and DE Ronald Talley. McQuistan is the brother of Seattle’s starting right guard, Paul McQuistan.
It’s raining here at CenturyLink Field, but the forecast — for what it’s worth — indicates it will let up. Forty-eight degrees is the listed temperature.
The Seahawks are wearing blue tops and blue pants, the same combination they’ve worn in every home game this season. They still haven’t worn their alternate greys.
