The 49ers and Seahawks rank first and second, respectively, in scoring defense. Each offense has a strong running game and a dual-threat quarterback who’s in his first season as a starter. A game and a half separates the teams in the NFC West standings.
Seattle and San Francisco are fairly evenly matched and in many ways similar, in other words.
In the absence of any glaring differences, Brock Huard and Mike Salk believe Sunday night’s showdown at CenturyLink Field could come down to whichever head coach outsmarts the other. They expand on that notion in the video below.
